BLANK was started in 2004 in Cheddar, Somerset, when Rob Hill and Andy Bishop of Split Second Imports decided they needed another BMX brand to add to their bike portfolio. Rather than try to acquire an existing brand, they decided that due to the years of experience they had both accumulated in the study of bike spec, costs, design and import logistics, they would use all of their ideas and expertise to invent their own!
The philosophy of BLANK from Day One has been to offer the kind of products the high-end BMX brands offer, at the prices they don’t! The same handlebars (8” rise, 28” width) which would cost £70 from one brand, will cost you £40 from BLANK, despite the fact that they are made from the same material, by the same manufacturers in exactly the same way!
